RESTAURANT | MINNEAPOLIS, MN & BLOOMINGTON, MN
A fresh take on Indian food takes on two of Minnesota’s most iconic (and challenging) retail environments.
When Hot Indian’s Amol Dixit decided to bring the flavors (and spices!) of his youth to the people of Minnesota, he started with a food truck to spread the word and the flavor. But he always had his sights set higher. So, after achieving a toehold in the Twin Cities food scene and adding an indoor market location, he decided to expand, adding both Minneapolis Skyway and Mall of America locations. To translate the depth and spirit of the brand into a physical language, we created vibrant visuals that communicated the brand’s culture and energy. This includes a bold use of pattern and color, Bollywood-inspired illustrations that tell the HI story, cheeky messaging to assist and encourage customers and the curious, and appearances (both bold and subtle) by Sona, Hot Indian’s ever-present muse. And if you stop by, make sure to hit the “Dance Okay Please” button to add a little extra HI flavor to your meal!
